car wise, Hyundai is definitely releasing models that are more exciting / better priced than Japan... and with a 10 year warranty, you can't really beat that... The Japanese are notorious for not wanting to warrant their products, almost as though it's an insult in you thinking that something is going to go wrong with it

“Copies of what? How do you know? As far as the videos being sped up - do you realize what "speedpainting" is? It doesn't mean "paint this in Photoshop in 10 mins or less - ready, go" Speedpainting takes anywhere from 45 minutes to around 8 hours, generally speaking. Here's the actual definition:"Speed Painting is an exercise, primarily digital, in which one paints on a time budget, using already developed methods to create a piece"Since I'm sure you wouldn't want to watch a video that long, they are sped up. Also, while digital art can sometimes be easier that traditional art - it still takes just as much skill, time, and effort to get to a certain level. The fact it's done on a digital medium doesn't make it any less artwork.

Yeah... it reminds me of it because it is exactly what she did. A total ripoff..
We should allow private companies to bid against NASA in this endeavor. If some private company can show that they can do the same thing for 25% of that money and meet project goals, why should we sink a trillion into NASA doing it? Besides, I think we need a large orbital station or a base on the moon (secondary) first to give us a good starting point outside the atmosphere. I would certainly rather see a base on the moon or a large telescope array on the dark side of the moon than a mission to mars. I should look up at night and see the lights of a city on the surface of the moon twinkle. If I ever make a few hundred billion dollars and Obama doesn't take it from me and give it to the UAW, I'll see to it we can look up at the moon and see city lights.!

@JTMON: That issue isn't nearly as common as RRoD. Virtually all electronic products are going to experience some sort of failure rate just by nature of their inherent complexity and the limitations of quality control. The 360 is notable because its failure rate is exceptionally high, not because other systems never fail.

I think it's always important for any of us on the Internets to point out if we've already seen something at an earlier time. |
