| Yeah, that is kind of odd. When I had problems with my G5, they pretty much replaced every component in there if they had to to fix it. Only reason I can see them choosing NOT to fix it would be if it wasn't under warranty and the cost of replacing all the parts would be more than buying a new machine. |

the most disgusting thing about this may be how the 2 bystanders just WATCHED. real men react. apathy has consequences.
I guess the Royal Family is the ultimate safeguard against a Prime Minister or Government going berserk. The Queen vetoes any PM candidate, and can choose to make PMs resign, or even stay on in power. Heck, during the 50s the Queen apparently almost staged a coup; because of concerns that the then-current PM, Harold Wilson, was a Soviet spy. But don't go thinking that the Queen can just go waltzing in and take over everything, the Armed Forces for instance are under control of Parliament; not the royalty. EDIT: She also has a very important role in that of being the Head of State. Most of the royalties time is taken up with formal visits, diplomacy, etcetera etcetera.

It's interesting to see Japan and South Korea being compared.Japan is way more developed than Korea is, in my opinion.Korea is just catching up. I think. Oh, and I'm Korean by the way.!

Digging me down is fine, but at least man up and post some legitimate reasons why you prefer manned space exploration?
Oh please, Bing has been flat around 91/2% for months. It was down in September to under 9, then back up slightly in October (probably fueled by W7). Here's my gripe, in W7 RC, I had no trouble changing the default search engine for IE8 from bing to google, but in the official release, google is nowehere to be found (especially on popular search engines). Seriously, you had to search for it by name to make it default - isn't this the same BS that got m$ in trouble last time? I say that as a novelty, the only time I used IE8 was to download the most recent Firefox, just since my stored copy hadn't been updated in a while. I expect bing to drift up as the clueless use IE8 and can't figure out how to change back to google, but honestly, most of those people (like my mom, my aunt) never use the default search on the browser, they just type google into the addressbar. Is it me or are there a hell of a lot more m$ pumpers on all forums spewing this kind of trash since W7 came out? |

Unless 80% of your TV watching is live sport. Hulu/youtube have *nothing* that I want to watch, and I'm not torrenting sports coverage for events that happened yesterday.

I really like Bing, but it's not really eating into Google's marketshare. As the article shows, Google's marketshare has grown; only Yahoo's has shrunk, but they're going to be using Bing for searches soon anyways. That will basically triple Microsoft's marketshare though. |
