Why do these articles keep popping up. its as if somebody is taking an old article and adding this to it:"It has been documented over the years and it is something very special to witness, although I know climatologists believe the phenomenon could disappear in a few years as the temps continue to rise."I find this all the time on digg.
there is no point in burning nuclear waste... since it can be recycled. The problem now is that we have too few nuclear reactors to make it cost effective to recycle the waste, but if people would get over their fear of nuclear power we would have real renewable energy. I live in kitchener ON and we have a CANDO reactor just north of us that has been running for 30+ years. and all the waste currently sits in one big pool and 4 outdoor silos no bigger then a 2 door garage.TLDR = don't burn it recycle it, nuclear power is awesome

“Why would I want to project a movie/whatever onto a piece of paper and have to worry about ambient light? Why would I want other people to see the photos/whatever I am projecting onto a wall? It seems to me like some kind of glasses which overlay this stuff onto our vision without actually projecting it is what we want.

Just skimming the first half page, all that was being written about was the inventor. I don't care if he has blue eyes and looks normal, I want to know wtf does the sodium reactor does and why it isn't working now..
You really think Flinn could've figured this out on his own?!

Don't forget about the most dangerous of the invasive species, the snowbird.

"apparently you were too busy working on your "guns" to get a decent education."Nice. And right after you tried to call him on a fallacy he didn't even use.

dutchguilder2 is right. I like Krugman most of the time but I don't think China will let the states depreciate the dollar or let inflation pay the debt by itself. You guys have to remember that if China lets the RBM appreciate by 1%, it's 1% of their bonds/bills/dollars reserves that melts away. Both countries have a lot to lose from this situation and believe me, they very well understand what they are doing.@GrownupPhan Why not include the part of the article where Krugman says that the Obama administration doesn't seem to get it neither? What's your politico-blog agenda?

Pfff, robots aren't going to fight us. Why would they bother? You don't fight your own DNA or internal organs do you? They'll be more dependent on us than we will be of them. Only one of us will be designed to survive in a world without people. |
