Turns out that the global cooling trend of the last decade isn't happening according to any of the charts NASA has which are based on many temperature monitoring stations around the world. There are some lower lows than recent previous decades, but the overall trend is still increasing. That would fit very well with the long expressed theory of climate change which says we will see an overall warming trend with some increases in measurements of both record highs and record lows. And that's the scientific meaning of theory, not the lay-person "We think maybe this is what it is, but it's just a guess" meaning of theory.
