Galactic rotation curves follow directly from the natural behavior of Birkeland Currents within the laboratory. Most -- if not all -- pulsars are nothing more than the flicker of Birkeland Currents connecting cosmic objects; we need not propose "new physics" that violate the Island of Stability to explain the most energetic pulsars. Dark matter is unnecessary within the EU; it simply results from the relative weakness of gravity. The heliosphere is nothing more than a plasma cell, protecting the Sun's electrical charge. The Earth's electric field is nothing more than the result of charge accumulation, as would occur within an electrodynamic system. The solar wind's enigmatic acceleration is nothing more than the result of the Sun's electric field. The universe is filamentary on all scales simply because that's what plasmas do within the laboratory. When we see magnetic fields associated with galaxies, we should immediately suspect that electric currents are causing them.None of this stuff is complicated, Phil. People just need to learn what plasmas are, and how they tend to behave within the laboratory. It would help a lot if you would stop confusing plasmas for gases, and start taking a more critical look at the models which you guys take for granted in simulating the cosmos. Why don't you start up an honest dialogue with Wal Thornhill, Anthony Peratt and Gerrit Verschuur? They will explain in great detail why you guys are wrong if you do not attack them. And if you will actually entertain the notion that you might have learned something which is not true while in college, for long enough to learn a new cosmology, in an open and non-confrontational non-debunking manner, not only could it set an amazing precedent for your peers, but your understanding of space and even philosophy of science will tremendously benefit. Why don't you try to learn the Electric Universe instead of trying to always argue against it? If your only goal is to debunk it, you will *never* learn it. You will never actually realize how wrong you are. You will never realize that all of your good intentions are in fact causing great harm to the advancement of science. You are merely blinding yourself to that which you already disagree, to the detriment of the entire world and the astrophysical community which you presumably love. Why are you so content to not challenge your beliefs? Doesn't a reporter have a higher duty to the public than his employer? Or, are you just a lobbyist for the dominant paradigm? And you unknowingly now take advantage of these broken lines of communications because people like Peratt have given up on trying to convince people like yourself, leaving people like myself to try to mop up. It may seem to you guys as though you have won the debate, but really you've just broken the lines of communications. If you were to actually sit down with Peratt, I'm sure it would be a devastating experience for you -- which is why I suspect that you would never try to do it. Why don't you challenge yourself and send Peratt an email? Challenge *HIM* to convince you, with the promise that if he does, you will change your tune ...
She obviously was in the wrong, and I would never defend her, but reading that letter she wrote makes me extremely sad. She obviously has a lot of problems, and those words she wrote are the words of a real human being (like you or me) who is suffering.Obviously I don't think he should forgive her or anything, but I just find the entire thing very sad, and not funny in any way whatsoever.
