"They'll be more dependent on us than we will be of them"How so? They already do our mining, refining and manufacturing for us. I'm sure robots that repair themselves aren't far behind.

You somehow stumbled upon the secret formula I assume..
I love checking out Roman ruins. The stuff in Rome is incredible. There's a lot of stuff in the UK too that's amazing to see. Anyone with an interest in history should definitely make the effort to see some of this stuff.!

It's hard to tell if he cheated from the looks of it the ball hit his hand. He may have got his hand in the way to put the ball in the path of his feet but he'd have to react pretty damn fast to do that.Thiery Henry has been playing football for many years now though and he doesn't have a mark against his name despite being on top of English and Spanish football for most of his playing career and representing his country numerous ocassions so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. This sucks for Ireland but end of the day I doubt Ireland were going to make it very far in the World Cup even if they did get through. Spain vs Brazil looks like the big one come next summer.
"It works fine."That depends on where it is you want to go. For joy rides into near earth orbit (i.e. the space shuttle) it sorta works .... except for a few spectacular failures. For anything beyond the moon, it's pretty much a one way trip. It takes months to get there and it's very difficult to bring along enough fuel to make your way back. For any serious manned exploration, the first thing that *must* be replaced is the propulsion system. This means putting money into scientific research ... *not* more manned joyrides just for the sake of the publicity. If we ever do get off this rock, the Large Hadron Collider (and similar projects) will have as much if not more to do with it than anything at NASA.
