really?i'm a sysadmin with more than a decade of experience, in linux, windows, and os x. i have built some of the largest production systems ever. i have managed IT and Help Desk for several companies, as well as contributed greatly to the Open Source movement.one Sunday morning, my Macbook Pro didn't turn on properly; the little magnetic switch that turns the display off when you close the lid was stuck in the "off" position, so the screen wasn't illuminating. my guess is that my cat sleeping on the laptop every night eventually flexed the lid enough times to break something. i had a flight the next morning to give a presentation across the country, and not having my laptop was not an option.i went to apple.com, made an appointment for the local Genius Bar, went to the mall, dropped my laptop off, spent two hours in the mall, then went back to the Apple store to see what they could do for me.by that time, they already:* replaced the lid* replaced the keyboard* replaced the logic board* cleaned the case* cleaned the displaythey handed back what was essentially a new laptop, the very same day it broke, for exactly $0.go ahead, try that with your Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Acer, etc etc etc
