AT&T and AT&T Wireless are actually separate entities. You can't even apply for a job in the cellular division through AT&T, you have to apply directly to the wireless division. I don't know why, but I imagine it's because they bought out Cingular and became the largest provider in the nation; by staying separate the anti-trust laws won't break em up.... yet.?
