I had a similar experience working at an apple repair shop around 2004. Customer called up irate because the display on her 1991 Mac Classic had gone out, and was very upset when I told her we couldn't get parts for machines that old. The only Mac we had that old was broken, and we were using it for a doorstop.

Anybody who believes this story is an idiot. Anybody who wants food can get it somewhere. I've worked with homeless shelters and prison ministries. I know what's out there. And I know how cunning people can be when it comes to getting what they need. The few people who aren't getting what they need are either mental ill or willfully self-destructive. Whatever methodology was used in coming up with this statistic is bogus. It is a lie to say that any substantial number of people CAN'T get enough food, much less that 15 percent of people don't. The people who made this claim have an agenda, but honesty is not on that agenda.?

I currently live in Huntington, WV, which is considered the fattest city in America. As someone who has seen how awful it is firsthand, I really hope the rest of the country doesn't fall into the same trend. Seeing so many fat people all the time is incredibly depressing, and it just ruins the atmosphere of the town.
