He's a jew.....enough said.(hey it's a joke that even Jon would make so cram it)
Hrm.....looking at that list, it must suck to have internet in the US. Here in the Netherlands:1: Nope, one tried it, they stopped after too many complaints reached the ombudsman2: Usually fairly accurate speedclaims. They make it look a bit nicer, but at least they are honest that the speed is "Up to ## Mbps" and rarely does it reach less than half that speed, usually around the 75% for DSL and 100% for cable.3: No targeted advertising with any provider except the free ones...and those don't exist anymore.4: Tapping is mandatory, even though some try to get out of it :(5: site-not-found = site-not-found. no ads or whatever6: no DPI whatsoever7: No packetspoofing/forging whatsoever8: No virusscanning at all but with some you can get a virusscanner on your PC for free9: No sneaky fees.10: Fast internet (25mbps over cable) is 25 euro. 40 dollars. Fast DSL is 20 euro (30 dollars). No limits, no caps, no whining about extra costs for extra MB's.I guess NL must be Internet-Heaven compared to the US....

“Liberal media is an absolute myth. They can't be expected to give equal time to every bible-thumping, blood-lusting secessionist nutcase out there, but if they don't OMG LIBERAL BIAS.The simple truth is this:Sarah Palin is an idiot, unfit for public office of any kind. She makes George W. Bush look erudite, and her vice presidency would have been absolutely disastrous for this nation; even more so had she needed to assume the duties of the president. There's just no arguing it. Even your conservative friends in the media know this.So excuse your fellow countrymen for being relieved that we avoided that fate. Sarah Palin is destined to become nothing more than the butt of everyone's jokes, be they liberal or conservative. Like Richard Heene, she's an attention whore whose time is up. The sooner she profits off her book, the sooner she can go hide in her shack and quit threatening society with her nonsense.

I regret to inform you that your baby is a sith lord....
I'll join the dots for you, obviously your brain isn't working correctly. Every single time a delivery guy comes, all 5 people at home hear the doorbell/knocking, none of them bother to check it, later when you get home and show the note they *all* deny ever hearing anything. Despite the obvious annoyance this has caused you, they will do exactly the same thing tomorrow. What other explanation could there be? Seriously, despite the semi-truth in the cartoon, it's actually very unlikely, these people are PAID to deliver stuff, they know how to do it. But you'd rather believe your friends are all responsible, non-lazy, concerned about your stuff, while every single driver from the freight co is somehow incapable of correctly delivering a package.Think about it.!

It was pretty funny, but the best BY FAR was Natalie Portman?
Was the turn signal blinking the entire time as well? |

What you call rationality and unbiased analysis is actually right wing talking points, you speak as if those don't exist or are always true and "unbiased", please pick one

It's a combination of wind and ice flows. The waters can move quite rapidly from the severe wind alone, and ice often forms on top of the flow. The combination is enough to push the rocks around, even quite big ones. There's also conditions where the wind can form boundary layer effects as low as 2 inches from the ground, where the wind below the layer can be moving up to 100 mph there, but not above there. For little rocks, how this works is obvious, but for big rocks, the combination of these two can be enough to start them moving. Gale force winds on the base, ice pushing along the top... voila. And once they're moving, the force needed to keep them moving halves (starting friction is much higher), meaning that they suddenly can move quite rapidly, sliding along the wet playa. Just ideal conditions creating unusual effects.
