Just a joke? Well that makes it all better. What kind of parent doesn't appreciate having their child harassed and threatened by a substitute authority figure for a laugh.
Did so poorly will probably get recycled by some other team as head coach next season

I am Pro-Choice and even I don't think insurance, public or not, should cover abortion. It is elective surgery (except, obviously, in cases when it is not, which should be covered)."Abortion is legal. It should be covered."Tummy tucks are legal. They should be covered. You may disagree with the comparison, but regardless of the moral and practical arguments, at the end of the day it's still a hell of a lot easier to pass a health care bill without covering abortions, and the abortions aren't expensive enough to impact a typical person. However, how about we have a system where elective surgeries are "sorta" covered - each elective surgery becomes a loan you have to pay back over time?.
I would digg you 100x if I could. No doubt he was one of the greatest. He has his number retired in Chicago, that should be enough. But for the entire league? Meh, more people had bigger positive influences on the game.Especially #2 of his reasoning. Jordan is almost single-handedly responsible for the over inflation of salaries across *all* sports, which has been a detriment in most cases.!

I'm not sure how many regular Simpsons fans there are around these parts anymore.I enjoyed the Cleveland Show this week more than the Simpsons, I think that about sums it up.

Back when I was a Genius, I would do a somewhat similar song and dance routine when customers brought in old technology like an original colored iBook or earlier.Generally customers with obsolete hardware are well aware of the futility of repairing their computers, and just want to show them off. As such I would oblige them for the sake of appearances.

Scott -I'm totally with you, except for the tone around "the government allows and encourages"...Corn is a huge industry in the US. There are a lot of good people who rely on that income to feed their family...which I'm sure isn't news to you. ...But the government isn't subsidising corn because they want ***** food at McDonalds to cost more than something healthy. The problem is nowhere near that simplistic - and hidden in its complexity is why the controversy exists. If you kill subsidies to corn, you screw up one of the largest industries in the US. Subsidising potatoes or salads just so people have healthy food is not a good idea because those products aren't as useful as corn. That being said, it's a problem... and a huge one. (See what I did there? Huge one? Like... fat? Har har.) |
