You lost me at the 2nd amendment nuttery. I won't bury you though because I agree with your overall sentiment. Having known personally people who have been to and worked briefly in China, I can say with confidence that it is, indeed, a hell hole.Try and imagine air pollution so bad that just walking down the street a few blocks in the city results in a palpable residue left on all exposed clothing and skin. Now imagine living in and breathing that everyday as you travel to and from the sweatshop you work in for just dollars a day if you're lucky. No thanks.

I think a trip to Mars and back is more of a sure thing than the education of some of today's youth.
Probably referring to the issue this picture will be in. Misleading nonetheless.!

Thanks for the stats! My point was more going toward the number of starts. When a team see a pitcher 4-6 times a year, obviously they have a better feel for what he can do and can possibly hit better against the pitcher knowing what to expect. Greinke did pitch well against both teams at home and on the road, but only 2 starts against each. No starts against the Yankees this year. I live on the east coast and only saw him pitch twice: he got shelled in Toronto and Minnesota got him pretty good in his last start of the season. I saw Felix pitch well against the Red Sox when they were on fire and saw him dominate the Yankees during a stretch where they were hitting the cover off the ball.?
you make it sound as easy as if you go out and do an 'interesting' activity that someone just falls into your lap...that is the SAME delusion as those who play video games 30 hours a week. And don't forget that most of the people doing those 'interesting' things are already there with someone, don't want to be bothered by you, aren't your type, aren't their type, or any number of mitigating factors. And lets not forget that if you meet someone you may have only made a new friend at best, nothing more. hence NOT accomplishing your goal. You may think people over think this, but you're sorely under thinking it. |

What's annoying are some of the comments above and below that contribute nothing to the article.Anyway, I'm guessing one of the reasons why construction of new homes is slow is because many home buyers are still taking advantage of the many foreclosed and devalued homes still in the market. |
